We are excited to welcome you and your family to the YMCA Homeschool program!
This is the beginning of something truly special, and we are thrilled to have your family be part of it. Our goal is to create a fun, engaging and supportive environment where students can learn, grow, build friendships, explore new interest and make lasting memories.
As we launch this new program, we are excited to watch our new homeschool community grow alongside our families. We believe that learning can happen anywhere, and together, we're creating a place where children can discover their strengths, be themselves, and enjoy the journey of learning
I’m Natasha James, and I’m so excited to introduce myself and welcome you as we begin this new journey with the YMCA Homeschool Program.
I have over a decade of experience working in child development and hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education Interdisciplinary. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with children, families, and staff, helping create positive environments where children can learn, grow, build confidence, and feel supported.
This program is especially meaningful to me because I also homeschooled my daughter. That experience gave me a personal understanding of the homeschool journey and an even greater appreciation for opportunities that allow homeschool children to connect with others, build friendships, stay active, explore new interests, and simply enjoy being kids.
My professional background, along with my own experience as a homeschool parent, is a big part of why I’m so passionate about this program. I want to create a welcoming place where your children feel included, supported, and excited to participate.
I’m grateful to be part of this program from the very beginning and look forward to getting to know your families and watching our homeschool community grow.

Get ready to MOVE!
Our YMCA Homeschool PE classes where learning meets energy excitement and FUN! Students will jump, run, play, compete, and challenge themselves through exciting games, sports, fitness activities, and team challenges!
Every class will bring something new, giving students the chance to try new sports, learn new skills, make friends, and have a blast while staying active.
Whether your child is a natural athlete who just loves to have fun, everyone is welcome!

YMCA Homeschool Robotics
Get ready to BUILD,CREATE and INNOVATE!
Our YMCA Homeschool Robotics class is where creativity meets technology, and FUN! Students will explore the exciting world of robotics through hands on projects, building challenges, problem solving activities, and creative experiments.
Students will have the opportunity to design build test and improve their creations while learning how things work and discovering what they can create with their own ideas.
Whether your child already loves robots And technology or is completely new to robotics, this class is all about exploring, experimenting, and having fun while learning! Come ready to BUILD, THINK, CREATE, and DISCOVER! Let's build something amazing!
