USAG Pre-Team
Pre-Team is the first big step toward joining our competitive gymnastics program! Gymnasts in this program will build strength, flexibility, confidence, and strong foundational skills while learning the discipline and teamwork required for competitive gymnastics.
Once a gymnast has mastered the required skills and is ready for competition, she may be invited to join our USAG Competitive Team
USAG Competitive Team
Our USAG competitive team begins at Level 4. Gymnasts train and compete in all four Olympic events—vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise—while continuing to build strength, confidence, discipline, and advanced gymnastics skills.
At Levels 4 and 5, gymnasts compete compulsory routines, meaning every athlete performs the same routine on each event. Beginning at Level 6, gymnasts transition to optional gymnastics, where routines are individually choreographed to highlight each athlete’s strengths while meeting the skill requirements for their level.
Throughout the competitive season, our team travels to meets across the Metroplex and surrounding areas. As gymnasts progress, they have opportunities to qualify for State Championships and other postseason competitions based on their level and performance.
