Good morning YMCA Family,
As we begin another Mission Monday, I want to pause and simply say thank you. Since our Community Impact Luncheon in October, witnessing the continued generosity to support behind the Vicki & Jim McCoy Aquatics Center is deeply humbling as the project takes shape. Because of you, this transformational project is becoming a reality that will serve our community for generations to come.
The holiday season kicked off with wonderful Thanksgiving event at our Downtown Y. We had an outstanding showing at our 4th Annual Gobble Wobble, with 521 runners hitting the streets in the spirit of health, fun, and gratitude. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when our community comes together around wellness and connection.
This season has been especially joyful across our YMCA. Our Dillard and Colonial Early Learning Centers filled the halls with Christmas cheer through their holiday presentations, showcasing the talents and smiles of our youngest members. And of course, Cookies & Cocoa with Santa brought laughter, wonder, and special memories for families throughout Wichita Falls.
Moments like these reinforce why the YMCA exists. We are honored to be a place where individuals and families can achieve, belong, and connect. Whether that’s through a new facility, a finish line, a classroom performance, or a simple shared moment of joy, the Y is here for good.
Thank you for believing in the Y, investing in our mission, and helping us strengthen our community. We look forward to a tremendous 2026 and the continued opportunity to serve our community alongside you!

Every event is an opportunity to bring families together and create meaningful moments that last far beyond the day. That’s what the Y is all about. MAKING A DIFFERENCE
with the Y
The YMCA competitive gymnastics team had the special opportunity to visit the residents at House of Hope Nursing Home, where they showed off their skills, performed fun tricks, and passed out gifts. Thank you to the wonderful residents for welcoming our team with such warm smiles!
Youth Baseball & Youth Volleyball sign-ups are happening right now with the YMCA of Wichita Falls!
For grades Pre-K through Junior High, youth baseball with the YMCA is a home run! Combine your individual skills with team work to make the dream work. Enjoy the outdoors in a fun, competitive environment.
3rd grade - 8th grade volleyball with the YMCA of Wichita Falls is here to help instill Christian values and teach kids that hard work pays off.
