Dear YMCA Family,
I’m thrilled to share the highlights of our recent Community Impact Luncheon. This past month, we had the honor of welcoming hundreds of our dedicated members, supporters, and community partners into a space of shared stories and heartfelt celebration of the Y’s impact.
During our time together, it was an honor to recognize Vicki and Jim McCoy for their outstanding leadership and generosity with the 2025 Dennis Cannedy Triangle Leadership Award. Their vision and dedication continue to inspire us all and shape a brighter future for our YMCA. We are forever grateful for James N. McCoy Foundation’s commitment to this incredible Aquatics Center project.
We were able to witness a special moment meeting Kevin Dinnin, the President and CEO of the First Day Foundation and Wichita Falls High School Graduate. Kevin announced a remarkable $250,000 match challenge to our community to support our Vicki and Jim McCoy Aquatics Center. Even more amazingly, we received a surprise additional $250,000 gift from the First Day Foundation right on the spot.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for being part of this incredible journey. The generosity we witnessed at the luncheon opens countless possibilities for our community. Together, we are paving the way for new opportunities and greater impact.
