ADAPTIVE SWIM

With the Y

Our adaptive swimmers did an amazing job! From big brave splashes to strong kicks and smiles all around, we’re so proud of the progress each swimmer is making. 🏊✨

Every class is about more than swimming — it’s about building confidence, celebrating small victories, and having FUN in the water.

Our Livestrong Survivors just graduated from the 12 week Livestrong Course at the YMCA of Wichita Falls, we couldn't be more proud of all of these incredible individuals.

Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and LIVESTRONG® have joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program for cancer survivors and those currently undergoing treatment. The program focuses on you – the whole person – not the disease.

This free, 12-week program meets twice a week for 90 minutes, using traditional exercise methods to ease you back into fitness and help you maintain a healthy spirit, mind and body.

New session for Livestrong at the Y is starting in January! Do you know someone that has been affected by cancer? This is the place for them!
