Dear YMCA Family,

As the back-to-school season kicks off, we are just as excited as you are to see our community’s children gearing up for a new year of learning and growth. This time of year brings new beginnings and fresh opportunities for kids and families.

We are especially thrilled to announce that our new kindergarten program is now in full swing! It’s been wonderful welcoming our little learners and seeing them dive into their educational journeys with enthusiasm. We believe in supporting every child’s potential, and this program is just one of the many ways we’re committed to help our youth achieve, belong, and connect.

In addition, we want to highlight the incredible generosity of our community during our back-to-school supply drive. It is always inspiring to see everyone come together to support our local schools and ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed. 

Thank you all for being such a giving community to help our youth flourish!

Is your child ready to dribble, shoot, and score? Register now Youth Basketball with the YMCA!

 he YMCA utilizes volunteer coaches to focus on participation and fun! While basic skills of the game are developed through practices and games, every child learns sportsmanship and values necessary to be successful in life. Every game begins with a Youth Sports Pledge and ends with a handshake.

Whether you're new to the game or looking to level up your skills, our league is all about fun, teamwork, and growth. 

Season Starts: November 17th

Ages: Pre-k through 6th Grade

Get ready for a fun family run Thanksgiving morning! We will start our race at the Downtown YMCA at 1010 9th Street. All proceeds will go to support family programs at the YMCA. T-shirts FOR ALL! Donate non-perishable food and receive a special THANK YOU gift.

Prizes for TOP FINISHERS! Kids FUN AREA available.

START TIME: 8:45am for 1 Mile, 9:30am for 5K

REGISTRATION FEE: $30 for 5K, $15 for 1 Mile

LATE REGISTRATION FEE: $40 for 5K, $25 for 1 Mile
