Women’s Start Time – Friday Sept. 23 @ 5 PM

Men’s Start Time – Saturday Sept. 24 @ 10 AM

Mixed Intermediate Start Time – Sunday Sept. 25 @ 1:00 PM

Mixed Advanced Start Time – Sunday Sept. 25 @ 4:00 PM

Refunds

As a charity event, no refunds will be issued for no shows.  However, shirts will be given to each participant regardless of attendance.

Pickleballs

Onix Fuse Indoor Pickleballs will be provided for the tournament.

Timeouts

Two 30 second timeouts per team, per match.

Format

Women’s Format:

7 Person Random Draw Double-Elimination Bracket (Advanced team has a bye)

First to 15, win by 1, switch at 8

Finals are best two out of three games, first to 11, win by 2.

1st Round losers: random selection to determine who gets a bye

Awards for 1st and 2nd place. If the Advanced team is the winner, awards go to 1st place as well as the top two placing intermediate teams.

           

Men’s Format:

            Two Randomly Selected 4-Team Pools:

            First to 15, win by 1, switch at 8

            The top two teams of each pool advance to a single elimination bracket

                        Game 1 is first to 15, win by 1, switch at 8

                        Game 2 (Final) is best two out of three games, first to 11, win by 2

            Awards given to the 1st and 2nd place teams and to the two highest placing intermediate teams if            they have not already placed 1st or 2nd.

 

Mixed Intermediate Format:

Two Randomly Selected 4-Team Pools:

            First to 15, win by 1, switch at 8

            The top two teams of each pool advance to a single elimination bracket

                        Game 1 is first to 15, win by 1, switch at 8

                        Game 2 (Final) is best two out of three games, first to 11, win by 1

 

Mixed Advanced Format:

6 Player Round Robin

Best two out of three games, first to 11, win by 2

Top 2 teams receive awards

Ties are broken by points earned, then points allowed.

Referees

There will be no referees and all scoring will be maintained by the two teams playing. Line calls should not be disputed by opponent. Any further disputes will be addressed by replaying the point.
