Your kids are discovering all kinds of exciting worlds. That's why in YMCA Child Care, we carefully design every activity to expand their imaginations and encourage lifelong, positive values. Full-time YMCA Child Care is divided into specific, age-appropriate programs that provide your kids with high-quality and enjoyable experiences.
Meals and snacks are provided in conjunction with the non-profit USDA food program. Multi-child discounts are available. We are a state-licensed child-care facility.
Early Childhood Education: Ages 0-3 yrs
Personal attention, rich sensory experiences, and a generous supply of giggles are a big part of their day. We use "Bright Babies" and "Itty Bitty Bookworm - Bailey's" literacy based curricula for this age group. The YMCA Early Childhood program is a "Race for the Stars" participant with the North Texas Area United Way. Care is provided Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm.
Annual Registration: $60/child (Due in August, prorated $5 monthly)

Early Child Hood Education: Ages 3-5 yrs
Children learn the importance of making choices, taking turns, developing language skills and working in a group while they play games and create to the limits of their imagination. We use "Frog Street Press" literacy based curriculum which is an approved preschool curricula written for and certified by the State of Texas. This Curricula was updated and released in the Fall of 2011, and is used in most area school district' preschool classrooms. Bible Study, Music and Physical Education/Nutrition programs round out our curriculum. Both preschool locations are "4 Star Texas Rising Star" providers and "Texas School Ready!" progect sites. Both preschool locations are also participating in "eREADIschool", and "Kindergarten Readiness System (KRS) Schools of Excellence". Care is provided Monday-Friday 6am-6pm.

School-Age Youth Education & Camps
School-aged kids join in a variety of experiences, and we give kids a chance to express their talents in the arts, sports and other areas of interest, taking full advantage of all the Y has to offer. They gather in a safe environment that focuses on making friends, building relationships, staying active, and exercising leadership skills. Care is provided at school, or children are transported to various sites.
Program hours: Before-school care starting at 6am;
After-school care until 6pm. Extended care available. (additional fee)

2013 Summer Day Camp Come spend your summer with the Wichita Falls YMCA Day Camp and start building memories that will last a lifetime! Kids have fun while they learn how to make new friends, build new skills and grow in self reliance. For kids, Y Camp is a fun way to enjoy the summer. For moms and dads, it’s a way to give their children a positive developmental experience. Activities will be provided to stimulate your child’s spirit, mind and body, such as swimming and weekly field trips to the movies, skating, and local entertainment complexes. Our program offers each child a variety of activities suited to his/her age and interests. Serving Wichita Falls and surrounding areas. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks served daily in conjunction with the USDA Food Program. Our program is regulated by TDPRS. ALL CAMPERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR TENNIS SHOES AND BRING A WATER BOTTLE DAILY. CAMPERS NEED TO BRING A 12 OZ. OR LARGER BOTTLE OF SUNSCREEN.
