Summer Day Camp

It’s time to Charge Into Summer and create the Best Summer Ever. The YMCA Summer Day Camp is a fun way to let your child enjoy and build lifetime memories. The YMCA Summer Day Camp is regulated by the TDFPS. Summer Day Camp provides children with positive developmental experiences. Children will make new friends, build social skills, and participate in Healthy Eating and Physical Activities. Activities such as nutrition education, volunteerism, and STEM Projects (science, technology, engineering and math) will help stimulate the YMCA’s three core values in your child-Spirit, Mind, and Body. Children will participate in a variety of fun filed trips to Cowboy Stadium, the Whiteside Museum of Natural History, Boomtown Bay, local parks, and many other local attractions. During Assembly Friday the children will have guest motivational speakers from the WFPD, WFFD, SAFB and many other local community leaders. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are served daily in accordance with the USDA Food Program guidelines.

Campers are required to wear tennis shoes and will need to bring sunscreen.
